AIDU North America, founded in 2002 by 4 original members was created as a means to bring together indigenous citizens of Ajasse Ipo in the United States. The original members often had meetings to stay in touch with one another. As time went on and the membership grew, their vision changed. In 2011, AIDU had a resurgence in membership. The members made a solid commitment to helping the people in need of Ajasse Ipo. Donations started coming in and provided opportunities to serve Ajasse Ipo. To start, the members assisted with the upkeep of Ajasse Ipo High School, including lawn maintenance and purchasing a xerox machine and books for the school with a promise to do more.

1. School Renovation

We plan to renovate Ajasse Ipo High School which has been left in deplorable conditions for many years even while students still attend the school. It used to be one of the best high schools in the state of Kwara, Nigeria, but has been neglected and unattended to.

2. Education Wellness for Students

AIDU also intends to help the public school students by providing them with education scholarships, books, materials, school supplies, clothing, and a proper environment for learning. We believe ensuring an ideal learning environment will not only help the students, but will make them productive citizens in the future anywhere they choose to go.
